My name is Edyta Materka (PhD Geography, London School of Economics) and I am interested in the politics of land and property related disputes in developing countries. Currently, I am conducting a multi-sited ethnography with the interest in studying the territorial function of the moral economy in post-socialist, rural Poland. Footnotes is a compilation of some photographs which reflect my observations on property, human geography, and political, architectural landscapes throughout my travels and research endeavors.
